Logos

NCSSM's logo supports the brand and the personality of the school — one that is passionate, creative, and adventurous. Click the links below to download logos for your use. For high-resolution logo files, or if you have any questions, please email communications@ncssm.edu

A FEW BASICS

- Always use a master art file; no need to recreate the logo yourself.

- Be careful not to stretch or distort the image.

- The catalyst image should never be separated from the school's name.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE APPROPRIATE LOGO

1. Orientation. Where and how will the logo be used?

- Stacked logo: Use this version on all print materials.

- Horizontal logo: Use for most web applications and when the more vertical stacked logo will not fit the design scheme.

- Abbreviated logo: Use primarily for apparel, promotional objects, or after the stacked or horizontal logo has been used with a multi-page layout.

2. Color. How will the logo be printed? The full-color logo should be used whenever possible, but some cases call for a black and white or reversed version due to printing limitations. See details below.

FULL-COLOR LOGOS

BLACK-AND-WHITE LOGOS

Use the black & white logo when it isn't feasible to use the full-color version, like when materials will be printed in black and white.

REVERSED LOGOS

A reversed version of the logo allows it to stand out on a solid-colored background. Use the versions below in these instances. *Please note that these files require a program such as Adobe Illustrator to recognize the transparent background. For assistance, email communications@ncssm.edu
